Historians think May is named after the Greek Goddess MAIA. It's also identified with BONA DEA, the Roman Goddess of Fertility. So let there be love in our town this month!!!

Also, 65 years ago, Hitlers War finished, ending 6 years of misery. So let's celebrate Victory in Europe Day on the 8th.
